A Night at Hogwarts: Adult Edition

March 19 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Sold out!  No worries, we do this one a lot!!  Email Amanda to get on the waitlist for this date at thecookeryinc@gmail.com

This class is for adults age 18 and older.  You must be 21 years or older to drink the alcoholic beverages offered in this class.  Under 18 check out our Night at Hogwarts Kid & Teen Edition!

Are you a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and movies? Do you maybe have a cloak and wand hidden in the back of your closet? Grab them and join us for a magical evening of food, fun, and cocktails! We’ll be making lots of sweet treats in this class such as Treacle Tart (Harry’s favorite), Cauldron Cakes,  and Aunt Petunia’s Pudding. We’ll make some more substantial things for dinner including English staples like Bangers and Mash, and Steak and Ale Pie. Of course, we’ll be washing everything down with Butterbeer and Polyjuice Potion! Grab that old cloak and join us for a positively magical evening!

Costumes are welcomed and encouraged!  We will also have Harry Potter Trivia! How well do you know your books!?

COVID 19 UPDATE: At this time we are asking all students to wear a mask to class. We will be taking temperatures at the door, as well as providing hand sanitizer upon your arrival. If you have any symptoms, have been around someone with symptoms, or have traveled outside the country recently we are asking that you please stay home. You may call to cancel your ticket with a two day or more notice, and we will issue a credit to be used on a future class. Thank you for supporting us during this challenging time! We will do our best to make our classes as educational and fun as ever.  Now that our county has moved to Tier 1, we can all enjoy our meal under The Cookery roof again! However, if you feel more comfortable taking all of our delicious foods home in a box, you can do that as well!  You will get a portion of each dish!

Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders.  Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. We will provide knives if you do not have them.  We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink.

Our classes are popular and often sell out!  You must cancel your registration at least 7 days in advance to receive a full refund for this class.  There will be a processing fee to cancel your ticket per person no matter when you cancel. You can cancel by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to cancel at thecookeryinc@gmail.com.  Tickets canceled the day before or on the day of class will not receive a refund for any reason (even Covid related).  You may gift or sell your tickets to someone else if you are not able to come but we cannot forward them to another class.

If you have a cardboard gift card with a 3-digit number and want to redeem it for this class, you must call or email to reserve your class spot prior to the class selling out.  If you reserve your spot with a gift card and do not show, you will forfeit the amount owed for the class from your gift card. If your gift card has a 16-digit code, you can cash it in online when you purchase your ticket.
