Cuban Dinner and Salsa Dancing Date Night

The best date night around!!! This class is for Adults only.  This ticket is sold as a ticket for TWO persons to attend together.  If you over purchase tickets for this class we will not refund you. Please be sure to only purchase one ticket for 2 persons to attend together. 

While traveling may not be an option for many of us at the moment, nothing can stop us from transporting our taste buds to the country of Cuba! Cuban foods are so fresh and flavorful with the inclusion of spices and techniques from Africa, Spanish, and the Caribbean cultures! Spend the evening with your significant other for date night at The Cookery, making delicious Cuban foods such as Ropa Vieja, Fried Plantains, Arroz Con Pollo, Papas Rellenas, Cubano Sandwiches, Mojito Shortbread Bars, Apple Empanadas, and of course some traditional Cuban bread to soak up all of the deliciousness left on your plate! Don’t know what some of these dishes are? Join us for the evening for a night of delicious, educational, fun in the kitchen! Don’t forget, you can BYOB 😉 Then as a special date night bonus and treat, our favorite dance instructor Jon Young from Youngdanceinc. is back to show us some new moves in the style of Salsa!!  He will teach a lesson first, then it’s open dance on the floor for those who want to join in!

COVID 19 UPDATE: At this time we are allowing optional masking for all students and it is no longer mandatory to wear a mask to class due to the recent state mandate enforced 2/28/22.  We will be providing hand sanitizer at the door upon your arrival. If you have any symptoms of COVID 19, Influenza, or other illness, have been around someone with symptoms, or have traveled outside the country recently we are asking that you please stay home and find someone to replace your ticket. We reserve the right to send any attendees home if we suspect illness. This is for the safety of our employees and customers. Thank you for supporting us during this challenging time! We will do our best to make our classes as educational and fun as ever.  Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders.  Bring  a beverage to drink if you wish. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink. Byob if you wish.

Our classes are popular and often sell out!  You must cancel your registration at least 7 days in advance of the class date to receive the opportunity to raincheck your tickets to another class (there is a fee to do so). We do not offer refunds for any reason, including Covid related issues. There is a $25 fee (per ticket) to raincheck your tickets to another future class, which is due at the time that you move your tickets. You can raincheck your tickets by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to raincheck at thecookeryinc@gmail.com.  Tickets canceled the day before or on the day of class will not receive a refund or rain check opportunity for any reason (even Covid / exposure related – we simply cannot accommodate for this).  You may gift or sell your tickets to someone else (for no fee) if you are not able to come- this is the best option if you have to cancel.

If you have a cardboard gift card with a 3-digit number and want to redeem it for this class, you must call or email to reserve your class spot prior to the class selling out.  If you reserve your spot with a gift card and do not show, you will forfeit the amount owed for the class from your gift card. If your gift card has a 16-digit code, you can cash it in online when you purchase your ticket.  Codes are case sensitive and require the dash marks to be entered to process the code.
