Everyone loves the experience of getting food from a street vendor. This is actually one of the most ancient forms of purchasing ready-made food, predating restaurants by thousands of years- and we’re still at it today! In cities like Los Angeles or New York, about 10,000 different vendors hit the streets every day with carts or trucks to sell some of the most iconic and delicious food know to man. Who isn’t tempted for a hot dog or a slice of pizza every time they visit the big city?? In this class, we’ll be celebrating street food all around the globe! We’ll make classics like Elotes, Pho, Potato Crusted Corn Dogs, Sushi Rolls, Street Tacos, Chicago Dogs, Empanada Hand Pies, Churros, Banh Mi, and Falafel! Street food all over the world is fast, vibrant, and bursting with delicious flavors that have the locals coming back day after day. In this eclectic class, we’ll eat some favorites and some dishes you’ve probably never had!
Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders. Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. You can bring adult beverages if you’d like. We will provide knives if you do not have them. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink.
