Most scientists believe that there is a lot of power in the food we consume. Some even suggest that the food we consume can have interesting affects on the body. Hot Chilies can make you sweat, Szechuan Peppercorns can make your mouth go numb, and Oysters can make you…aroused? Foods that are known for increasing libido are often called aphrodisiacs. While this is largely regarded as a placebo effect in the medical community, there’s nothing wrong with getting in the kitchen to make some everyday aphrodisiac ingredients into some sexy dishes! This class is perfect for couples or anyone who loves good food with a fun spin.  Menu includes delicious dishes such as: French toast in Honey Pecan Sauce with Honey Butter, Bacon and Parmesan Cheese Oysters, Grape Bruschetta with Whipped Ricotta, Strawberry Avocado Salad with Citrus Dressing, Black Bean and Squash Chili, Pasta with Asparagus, Chicken and Lemon Stilton, Artichoke Rosemary Pizza with Feta and Pine Nuts, Chocolate Hazelnut Truffles, and Champagne Laced with fresh Raspberries. Even if you don’t buy into the fun effects food can have on your body, this food is delicious enough to devour anyway! Grab any partner, and come enjoy a fun, lighthearted evening with us!

We will do our best to make our classes as educational and fun as ever.  Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders.  Bring  a beverage to drink if you wish. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink. Byob if you wish.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ: If you have any symptoms of COVID 19, Influenza, or other illness, or have been around someone with symptoms we are asking that you please stay home and find someone to replace your ticket. We reserve the right to send any attendees home if we suspect illness. This is for the safety of our employees and customers. Thank you for supporting us during this challenging time!

REFUND POLICY – Our classes are popular and often sell out!  You must cancel your registration at least 5 days in advance of the class date to receive the opportunity to raincheck your tickets to another class (there is a fee to do so). We do not offer refunds for any reason, including Covid related issues. There is a $25 fee (per ticket) to raincheck your tickets to another future class, which is due at the time that you move your tickets. You can raincheck your tickets by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to raincheck at thecookeryinc@gmail.com.  Tickets canceled the day before or on the day of class will not receive a refund or rain check opportunity for any reason (even Covid / exposure related – we simply cannot accommodate for this).  You may gift or sell your tickets to someone else (for no fee) if you are not able to come- this is the best option if you have to cancel.

If you have a cardboard gift card with a 3-digit number and want to redeem it for this class, you must call or email to reserve your class spot prior to the class selling out.  If you reserve your spot with a gift card and do not show, you will forfeit the amount owed for the class from your gift card. To cash in your cardboard gift card, contact us at thecookeryinc@gmail.com

If your gift card has a 16-digit code, you can cash it in online when you purchase your ticket.  Codes are case sensitive and require the dash marks to be entered to process the code.

We reserve the right to cancel classes for any reason. Class cancellations will receive a credit to a future class.
