.Mardi Gras is upon us! Let’s celebrate NOLA style! Fat Tuesday is a big deal in New Orleans and at The Cookery! New Orleans is known for their festive street extravaganzas and we will celebrate all of those flavors in our Mardi Gras class! We will make a feast of street foods like King’s Cake Cupcakes, Fat Tuesday Donuts, Cajun Shrimp Skewers, Jambalaya, Fried Catfish Nuggets with Creole Remoulade, Poutine, Creole Crab Cakes, Muffaletta Sliders, wash it all down with a New Orleans Hurricane Drink, OMG YUM!! Join us for a night of fun, food and drinks!
COVID 19 UPDATE: At this time we are asking all students to wear a mask to class. We will be taking temperatures at the door, as well as providing hand sanitizer upon your arrival. If you have any symptoms, have been around someone with symptoms, or have traveled outside the country recently we are asking that you please stay home. You may call to cancel your ticket with a two day or more notice, and we will issue a credit to be used on a future class. Thank you for supporting us during this challenging time! We will do our best to make our classes as educational and fun as ever. Now that our county has moved to Tier 1, we can all enjoy our meal under The Cookery roof again! However, if you feel more comfortable taking all of our delicious foods home in a box, you can do that as well! You will get a portion of each dish!
Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders. Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. We will provide knives if you do not have them. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink.
Our classes are popular and often sell out! You must cancel your registration at least 7 days in advance to receive a full refund for this class.
