Meat and Potatoes

Let’s face it: we Mid-westerners love a good ol’ meal of meat and potatoes. And to be perfectly honest, not much beats it! So we’ve concocted a bunch of new and exciting dishes inspired by the classics. In this class we’ll make dishes that marry meat and potatoes, a meat and potato fusion if you will!  Recipes include: Potato Crusted White Fish, Ham and Cheese Potato Croquettes, Taco Stuffed Potato Skins, Potato Bacon Pizza, Brisket Hash, Beef and Potato Tacos, and Pork Potato Chip Nachos. Doesn’t that all sound enticing? Come learn how to amp up that old “go to” meat and tator meal with some of these new takes on classic favs!

Please wear closed-toed shoes wear your hair up.  Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish.  We will provide you and/or your children knives if you do not have them.  We will also provide aprons.  We will have bottled water to drink.

Our classes are popular and this one is sure to sell out!  You must cancel your registration at least 5 days in advance to receive a refund for this class.  There will be a processing fee to cancel your ticket per person.  You can cancel by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to cancel at amanda@thecookeryinc.com.  Tickets cancelled the day before or on the day of class will not receive a refund.
