Oodles of Noodles – PHO Realz

This class always sells out and is great for adventurous eaters age 9 and up!  Come feel the warmth that the perfect bowl of noodles can bring!

Pho and Ramen noodle bowls have taken the world by storm! We don’t mean the instant packet stuff, but the real version made with the different variety of noodles available from around the globe, scratch-made broth, and a variety of meats and toppings to eat with it. These meals are truly slurp-tastic one bowl wonders!! In this class we will discover Ramen and we’ll also educate on “Pho,” which is basically the Vietnamese cousin of Ramen. Everyone will get to learn the secrets behind building a perfect, steaming bowl of noodles or noodle soup. Who knew that noodle dishes could all be so different while embracing the same simple concept of warmth and flavor in one bowl. We’ll split forces and make all kinds of noodle bowls in this class including Wonton Noodle Soup, Pad Thai, Spicy Peanut Noodles, Teriyaki Chicken Noodle Bowl, Ramen Stir Fry, Insta-pot Pho with Shaved Beef, Thai Tom Kha Coconut Curry Soup Bowl, Miso Ramen, and Egg Roll Noodles.

COVID 19 UPDATE: At this time we are allowing optional masking for all students and it is no longer mandatory to wear a mask to class due to the recent state mandate enforced 2/28/22.  We will be providing hand sanitizer at the door upon your arrival. If you have any symptoms, have been around someone with symptoms, or have traveled outside the country recently we are asking that you please stay home and find someone to replace your ticket.  Thank you for supporting us during this challenging time! We will do our best to make our classes as educational and fun as ever.  Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders.  Bring  a beverage to drink if you wish. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink. Byob if you wish. 

Our classes are popular and often sell out!  You must cancel your registration at least 5 days in advance of the class date to receive the opportunity to raincheck your tickets to another class (there is a fee to do so). We do not offer refunds for any reason, including Covid related issues. There is a $25 fee (per ticket) to raincheck your tickets to another future class, which is due at the time that you move your tickets. You can raincheck your tickets by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to raincheck at thecookeryinc@gmail.com.  Tickets canceled the day before or on the day of class will not receive a refund or rain check opportunity for any reason (even Covid / exposure related – we simply cannot accommodate for this).  You may gift or sell your tickets to someone else (for no fee) if you are not able to come- this is the best option if you have to cancel.
