Most people have heard of the “Paleo Diet.” It’s an incredibly trendy diet that heavily restricts processed food intake and instead focuses on lean meats and vegetables, with a small amount of healthy fats. The diet you follow depends on whether or not you can eat dairy or legumes, but the basic takeaway is this: No processed food of any kind, including processed oils and refined sugars. Low Carbs. Real, healthy food. What a concept! What separates the Paleo Diet from other trendy diets is that it is so simple, it’s pretty easy to stick to, and actually seems to yield long term results for many people. This class is geared toward people already on the diet who need new recipes to shake things up, or for people who are interested in the diet and want some ideas on what they can eat. As usual, we’ll be serving up delicious food! We’ll make dishes such as Coconut Shrimp with Sweet Potato French Fries, Blueberry Crisp, Spaghetti Squash with Homemade Bolognese, Fudge Brownies, Pot Roast with Sweet Potatoes, and even an Avocado Chocolate Pudding that’s so indulgent you won’t believe it’s actually healthy! Whether you are already on the diet, want to try it, or just love tasty food, get in here for a fun and educational evening!
