Rustic Spring Brunch

There’s nothing more beautiful and precious than the first fresh produce of the spring season (to chefs, at least). And we’re so blessed to have some of the most gorgeous fresh produce right here in Illinois! In our opinion, Brunch is a perfect way to highlight and respect these lovely offerings. We’ll make recipes such as: Kiwi Strawberry Basil Sorbet, Fried Artichokes with Lemon Dill Dressing, Leek, Squash, and Brie Gratin, Fried Goat Cheese on an Arugula and Spinach Salad, Sous Vide Eggs Benidict with a Lemon Pesto Hollandaise, Split Pea Soup Shooters, and a Ham and Gruyere Panini with an Apricot and Raspberry Jam. Yum! Let’s celebrate the beautiful food our farmers work so hard for in the best way: a delicious brunch meal!

Please wear closed-toed shoes and hair off the shoulders.  Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish.  We will provide you knives if you do not have them.  We will also provide aprons.  We will have filtered water to drink.

Our classes are very popular and usually sell out.  You must cancel your registration at least 7 days in advance to receive a full refund for this class.  You can cancel by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to cancel at amanda@thecookeryinc.com  No same day or day before refunds as food for the class is already purchased by then.

Class ending times may vary due to awesome cooking skills learned during this class.
