Tuscany Date Night

This class is for Adults only.  This ticket is sold as a ticket for TWO persons to attend together.  If you over purchase tickets for this class we will not refund you. Please be sure to only purchase one ticket for 2 persons to attend together. 

Picture this romantic dinner in your mind: The sun is setting, you’re outside of a quaint bistro in the rolling hills of Tuscany, a glass of wine in your hand, soft music is playing, the delicate smells of summer are tickling your senses through your face mask…okay! Wake up, you’re back in central Illinois! We can’t promise THAT romantic dinner at The Cookery, but we can come pretty close. We’ll have a dynamite menu with many classic staples, and some fun and education to boot. Our class will include dishes such as: Homemade Pappardelle Noodles in Lemon Sauce with Asparagus and Blistered Tomatoes, Zuppa Tuscana, Creamy Polenta with Sausage and Roasted Tomatoes, Blistered Tomatoes and Olives Salad, Gnocchi with Sage and Brown Butter, Crispy Arancini, Anchovy and Roasted Pepper Crostini with Goat Cheese, Stuffed Chicken Marsala (the best ever), Homemade Focaccia Bread, and a Ricotta Cheesecake with Honey and Lavender, with a seasonal wine to wash it all down! Though we can’t fly everyone to Tuscany, we can learn all about the amazing food there and master some classic Italian techniques. Grab any partner and come enjoy a night of indulgence!  Bring your wine! We’ll have some too  🙂

We will do our best to make our classes as educational and fun as ever.  Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders.  Bring  a beverage to drink if you wish. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink. Byob if you wish.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ: If you have any symptoms of COVID 19, Influenza, or other illness, or have been around someone with symptoms we are asking that you please stay home and find someone to replace your ticket. We reserve the right to send any attendees home if we suspect illness. This is for the safety of our employees and customers. Thank you for supporting us during this challenging time!

REFUND POLICY – Our classes are popular and often sell out!  You must cancel your registration at least 5 days in advance of the class date to receive the opportunity to raincheck your tickets to another class (there is a fee to do so). We do not offer refunds for any reason, including Covid related issues. There is a $25 fee (per ticket) to raincheck your tickets to another future class, which is due at the time that you move your tickets. You can raincheck your tickets by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to raincheck at thecookeryinc@gmail.com.  Tickets canceled the day before or on the day of class will not receive a refund or rain check opportunity for any reason (even Covid / exposure related – we simply cannot accommodate for this).  You may gift or sell your tickets to someone else (for no fee) if you are not able to come- this is the best option if you have to cancel.

If you have a cardboard gift card with a 3-digit number and want to redeem it for this class, you must call or email to reserve your class spot prior to the class selling out.  If you reserve your spot with a gift card and do not show, you will forfeit the amount owed for the class from your gift card. If your gift card has a 16-digit code, you can cash it in online when you purchase your ticket.  Codes are case sensitive and require the dash marks to be entered to process the code.

We reserve the right to cancel classes for any reason. Class cancellations will receive a credit to a future class.
