Virtual Paleo Night, Healthy & Delicious

It’s summertime again, and we’re focusing more on eating healthy. While we don’t want to promote “fad” diets at The Cookery, we have found a diet that helps a lot of people on the path to wellness. The Paleo diet is a simple diet to follow. It’s main premise is this: lean meats and veggies- no junk food, minimal carbs. Okay, we can do that! And of course, since we’re chefs and not doctors, we will make sure the recipes are not only nutritious but completely delicious. In this virtual lesson, we’ll make an Asian Sweet Potato Noodle Bowl with Homemade Ginger and Ground Pork Meatballs and a cool Herb Salad (this is one of the most satisfying dishes I have ever eaten). To stick to any diet, most of us need a little something sweet, too. So we’re making a rich and decadent Chocolate Avocado Pudding that you will swear tastes no different (and probably better!) than the original. All of these dishes are full of flavor, low on calories, and absolutely crave-able. You won’t even notice you’re eating healthy! We will also educate on the Paleo diet and what foods fit this equation for a healthy eating lifestyle.
Just pre-order your kit (which serves 4 or more this time around) any time before June 8th before 5PM, then pick up the supplies at The Cookery on June 10th between 12pm-2pm. Our lessons usually last about an hour and a half, but this can vary slightly. Best of all, this is an experience to share with family.
