Gluten Free Baking and Holiday Favs
Being sensitive to gluten may change the way you eat, but it doesn’t have to change the way you celebrate! That’s right! We can show how to make all the goodies you love, gluten-free. Fill your holiday buffets with gluten-free desserts that your whole family will love! In class, we will be working together to make great recipes such as decadent chocolate cupcakes (these are better than our glutenous version!), Gfree Bread Loaf with Honey Butter, Biscuits and Gravy, Cauliflower pizza bread, Snickerdoodle Cookies, Gingerbread Men, Oreo Truffles, Cranberry White Chocolate Cheesecake, Apple Crisp, Fudgy, Flourless Cookies, and more! No one will miss gluten after this class, not to mention, it makes all your desserts healthier for you and your body! Eat better and feel better this holiday season! Every Child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during class. You must purchase an Adult and Child ticket for you to both attend.
Class Type:
- Recipe / Buffet Style: Each group cooks a different recipe with staff support as needed and we sample all the dishes at the end of class.
- Culinary Focus: Everyone Follows the Chef and Cooks the same dish.
- Demo: Our executive chef will demonstrate recipes and explain the process step by step. There will be tastings available of the recipes.

We will do our best to make our classes as educational and fun as ever. Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders. Bring a beverage to drink if you wish. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink. Byob if you wish.
We reserve the right to cancel classes for any reason. Class cancellations will receive a credit to a future class.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ: If you have any symptoms of COVID 19, Influenza, or other illness, or have been around someone with symptoms we are asking that you please stay home and find someone to replace your ticket. We reserve the right to send any attendees home if we suspect illness. This is for the safety of our employees and customers. Thank you for supporting us during this challenging time!
REFUND POLICY – Our classes are popular and often sell out! You must cancel your registration at least 5 days in advance of the class date to receive the opportunity to raincheck your tickets to another class (there is a fee to do so). We do not offer refunds for any reason, including illness related issues. There is a $25 fee (per ticket) to raincheck your tickets to another future class, which is due at the time that you move your tickets. You can raincheck your tickets by calling the shop at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to raincheck at thecookeryinc@gmail.com. Tickets canceled the day before or on the day of class will not receive a refund or rain check opportunity for any reason (we simply cannot accommodate for this). You may gift or sell your tickets to someone else (for no fee) if you are not able to come- this is the best option if you have to cancel.
If you have a cardboard gift card with a 3-digit number and want to redeem it for this class, you must call or email to reserve your class spot prior to the class selling out. If you reserve your spot with a gift card and do not show, you will forfeit the amount owed for the class from your gift card. To cash in your cardboard gift card, contact us at thecookeryinc@gmail.com
If your gift card has a 16-digit code, you can cash it in online when you purchase your ticket. Codes are case sensitive and require the dash marks to be entered to process the code.
